Grow City Teaching Garden

The purpose of the Grow City Teaching Garden is to improve the health of our soil & community, one small garden at a time. The partnership behind this project provides public workshops on introduction to garden and urban soil health topics and utilizes a demonstration garden space behind the McGrady-Brockman House (614 N. 7th Street, Vincennes, IN). To keep up to date on happenings at the garden, follow the Facebook page here.

Besides public workshops, technical assistance and site visits to new growers on urban gardening are provided as well. With these visits, landowners can get a free soil test with potential contamination and fertility recommendations. To request a site visit, fill out the below form:
