Snapp/Kelso and Smalls Creek Watershed: April 2023 Update

Posted on May 3, 2023 by KCSWCDAdmin

At our March meeting, the group analyzed stakeholder concerns. This consisted of determining whether the concern was supported by our data, what is the evidence, if it is quantifiable, if it’s within the scope of the project, and if the group wants to focus on it. At our next meeting, in May, we will work through our problems that reflect the concerns on which the group has chosen to focus and then identify causes and sources. The information collected at the meetings is being used to develop a Watershed Management Plan for the Snapp/Kelso and Smalls Creek Watershed.

Water quality monitoring within the watershed continues monthly.
