The National Association of Conservation District’s (NACD) Stewardship Week is one of the largest national programs to promote natural resource conservation. Celebrated annually since 1955 between the last Sunday in April and the first Sunday in May, NACD Stewardship Week reminds us of our individual responsibilities to care for natural resources.
This year’s Stewardship Week theme is Where Would We Bee Without Pollinators?
Reach out to us if you have any questions on how to increase pollinator pollinator health. The Knox County CISMA will be hosting native plant sales again this year, which is a good way to acquire beneficial plants for pollinators. See more information on those here: http://knoxcountyswcd.com/kccisma/native-plants/
