When: October 29th from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Where: The Nature Center at Ouabache Trails (3500 N. Lower Fort Knox Rd., Vincennes, IN 47591)

Contact: Will Drews @ willem.drews@in.nacdnet.net or (812) 882-8210 ext. 119

Details: Our bats eat tons of insects.  But, they have a harder time finding healthy food when invasive plants are around. Join us for Bat Week 2016, an annual, celebration of the role of bats in nature.  You can make a difference by helping remove pesky invasive plants in our county park making it healthier for bats and other wildlife. We will begin with a short introduction and talk about bats and invasive plants in Knox County, followed by the plant pull. We will provide refreshments and equipment. Please wear sturdy shoes, clothing you’re willing to work in, and bring your own gloves.
